Let me first thank each of you for the incredible job that you are doing to help your students complete their academic goals, during the midst of a national pandemic, social upheaval and high levels of unemployment, school closings, virtual education and parents acting as facilitators of their student’s education.
You each deserves a huge medal, millions of hugs and a five weeks worth of paid vacation time to do whatever your dear hearts desire. That’s on top of your current salary or retirement pay. You deserve so much more for your impact on our communities.
You are incredible people who have risen to the occasion and overcome the task of providing learning and discipline to your children, students and family members, in an unprecedented time in the history of the educational system. Kudos, to you and know that we one-hundred percent thank you, recognize your work and pray for continued success for each person in your family.
Please do not hesitate to write to us and share your triumphs, successes and failures. We are here to listen, cajole and support you when the need arises. We, too were once parents and understand on a very intrinsic level the goals and ambitions that you have for your student. Keep up the great job that you are doing and take time to pat yourself on the back, even if your young are now out of school. We are always parents, to someone throughout our life journey.
